is, indeed, a typical and renowned
sauce of Liguria, a tasteful
condiment for pasta that also
enhances vegetable soups and
boiled meats.

TRUFFLES
The truffle, a typical product of the
Langa area, is known worldwide.
The so called “Trifolau” (or truffle
prospector) looks for this precious
produce under brambles and lime
trees.

MUSHROOMS
“Porcino” is the common name
of some species of mushrooms
belonging to the Boletus Edulis
type. These mushrooms are
characterized by a circular pulpy
cap.

BAGNA CAUDA
Bagna cauda is a typical
Piedmontese dish. It is made
with garlic, oil and anchovies.
Traditionally it was a typical dish
eaten during the grape harvest
period.
